Information we handle
This may include customer identity and contact details, order and support information, and the text, links, photos and business details requested for a public profile.
How it is used
Information is used to fulfil orders, configure products, publish and maintain profiles, provide support, prevent misuse and meet legal or accounting requirements.
Public profile information
Information placed on a published digital profile is intentionally public and may be viewed, shared or saved by anyone with the profile or product link. Customers should only supply information they are comfortable publishing.
Profile enquiries and analytics
When enabled by the profile administrator, a visitor may submit their name, phone or email and optional message with consent so the business and TapZeno administrator can respond. These enquiries are private to authorized administration and are not published on the profile. They are retained for up to 90 days, with deletion enforced on new submissions and admin review; inactivity may delay physical cleanup. Visitors may request earlier removal through TapZeno support.
Optional profile analytics record aggregate views and button clicks, not verified contact saves, confirmed bookings or unique people. A random browser session identifier is held in session storage; only its hash is used to deduplicate views. No IP addresses, advertising identifiers or enquiry content are stored in these analytics. Daily aggregates are retained for up to 365 days; cleanup is enforced during profile activity/admin review. Sharing events can be incomplete if the browser blocks requests.
Guest Services and staff access
Guest Services handles business membership, staff access, table or room visits, service requests, status history and conversations. Authorized staff and authorized devices for the same visit may see its requests and messages. A public guest entry link does not by itself grant access to a private conversation or Wi-Fi credentials.
Business owners control locations, service availability and visit access. Uploaded business logos, menu PDFs and property maps intended for public display can be accessible through their public links. Do not upload private guest documents to these public asset fields.
Service providers and retention
TapZeno may use hosting, database, deployment and other service providers needed to operate the service. Information is retained only as reasonably needed for the service, support, records, security or legal obligations.
Customer content and choices
Customers retain ownership of the content they submit, including profile text, links, photos and business details. They may request correction or removal of submitted content, subject to operational, contractual and legal record-keeping needs.
